Students will learn how to create multimedia titles and e-learning experiences.
Strata is partnering
with the Allen Academy of e-Learning to extend 3D design education into university, high school,
and junior high school classrooms.
The Allen Academy develops courses that
teach students how to create multimedia titles and e-learning experiences using
the same software and instructional processes the pros use. Students get
hands-on training and gain marketable skills using the products of Allen Academy
partners, including Designer’s Edge, Net Synergy, Quest Authoring System, Flash,
Premiere, Photoshop, GoLive, and, now, Strata 3D. Students graduate with project management skills,
lots of experience in teamwork, national multimedia developer certification,
and, perhaps, some idea of their own potential.
“We’re anxious to begin providing a 3D
experience to talented students in middle schools, high schools and colleges
with whom we consult. Our offering to schools is a unique program that
gives students a holistic view of digital media production in real-world project
situations,” says Jared Allen, co-vice president for Allen Academy.
“Thousands of design students, in countries around the world, will have the
opportunity to learn how to integrate 3D into their
workflow.”
