16-bit effects for Adobe After Effects 5.5/6.0/6.5 on MacOS X/OS 9/Windows.

Cycore Effects HD 1.0 is the 16-bit version of the Cycore FX plug-in package shipped with Adobe After Effects 6.5. With improved versions of Particle World and Particle Systems II, and three new plug-ins, Cycore Effects HD gives you 62 effects for a high-resolution environment. Effects include blurs, color adjustments, distortions, particle generators, lighting, and transitions.

New to CC Particle World are:

·        Resistance controls that allow you to simulates how particles are influenced by resistance from air and water

·        Three particle types: the Textured Square, Textured Disc, and Textured Faded Disc

·        The ability to colorize the particles’ texture

·        The Texture control group: Texture Layer pop-up, Scatter control, and Texture Time pop-up

·        Rotation Speed and Initial Rotation controls

·        Approximate volume shading for an increased sense of 3D depth

·        Transfer mode control.

As for CC Particle Systems II, it now enables you to control particle generation from a logo or other source with an alpha channel.

Cycore Effects HD also includes three new effects.

·        CC Environment is a filter that enables you to use spherical panoramic images as environments in compositions with After Effects camera support. There are controls for horizontal panning and spherical texture filtering.

·        CC WarpoMatic lets you create warped transitions between layers with controls for determining the warp amount, direction, smoothness, and blend span.

·        CC Plastic is a surface filter that texturizes your layer using a bump map. It gives you extensive control over appearance and the ability to cut out parts of the effect.

The eight-bit demo version of Cycore FX HD is available at the Cycore FX Web site. Access to the 16-bit version will cost you $349 for a single license. Between two and five licenses can be attained at a rate of $249, six to ten at $199, and 11 or more at $149.
