Seattle, Wash.-based AKVIS LLC has released AKVIS Stamp, which enables users to remove image defects and automatically clone large fragments of images for correction.
The new version supports 16 bits per channel, and adds an image healing tool in its Edit mode compatible with several photo editing applications including Corel Photo-Paint and Picture Publisher Pro.
AKVIS Stamp is priced at $49 for a single license, and is also available as part of the AKVIS Restoration Bundle packaged with AKVIS Retoucher for $87.

Inventive Announces iClip 3.7 for Mac OS X Users
Inventive Inc. has released iClip 3.7 of its multiple clipboard and scrapbook software solution, with compatibility for Mac OS X users.
Additionally, this version boasts a redesigned user interface and adds the ability to use Apple's new Mighty Mouse to control iClip. The upgrade also fixed several bug fixes from the previous version.
The upgrade is free for current users and is priced at $19.95 for new users and requires Mac OS X 10.2 or later.

EFI Boosts Color Management with Release of Color XF Version 2.6
Foster City, Calif.-based Electronics for Imaging, Inc. has released Colorproof XF Version 2.6 adding new Colorproof XF options, Dot Creator and the Fiery Option.
In addition, the release gives cross-Windows and Mac OS X platform support and adds compatibility with the current JDF standard for open job ticketing, according to the company.
The latest version features a new cropping function for singular printing and allows users to remove and print just a section of a page's content if necessary.
Colorproof XF 2.6 also gives users manual nesting capability and adds compatibility for several newly released printers from Epson, HP and Canon.
