AKVIS augments Enhancer ... StratoPoint releases image cleaning tool Cleanerzoomer ... Extreme Internet Software updates Extreme Picture Finder.

AKVIS gives users simpler image processing interface, while StratoPoint Software boosts image editing power for users and Extreme Internet Software's latest release boosts search capabilities for digital images.

AKVIS Augments Enhancer

Canada-based AKVIS LLC has unveiled its updated image processing tool AKVIS Enhancer 2.1 for Windows and Macintosh operating systems.

This release offers users a simplified Activation Wizard feature, which has now been replaced with a simple dialog box.

AKVIS Enhancer 2.1 enables digital artists to precisely adjust unevenness in exposure, brightness and contrast for a select part of a digital image or the whole image.

With the update release, the company also expanded the license key to activate the software on two computers instead of one and streamlined the Installation Wizard, which now supports an additional eight languages.

Licenses are priced at $69 for consumer licenses and $78 for business licenses.

Image Cleaning Tool Cleanerzoomer 3.0 Released

StratoPoint Software has released its image processing tool Cleanerzoomer 3.0 with an updated interface, GetBack utility for mass-restoring of deleted backup files and minor bug fixes.

In addition, the updated plug-in solution gives users of the Professional edition a command line interface and batch processing tool for images.

The digital image processing gives users tools for auto-balancing color and brightness, noise removal tools, and image sharpening.

Extreme Internet Software Updates Extreme Picture Finder

Extreme Internet Software has released Extreme Picture Finder 3.3.0, with improved Web picture search capabilities and the addition of two more search modes for users.

Using the additional search modes gives users the ability to find and download full-size and related images without downloading the thumbnails, according to the company change log.

Extreme Picture Finder 3.3 is priced at $34.95 and can be purchased from the company's Web site.
