CS Odessa Announces Upcoming Release of ConceptDraw WebWave
Ukraine-based Computer Systems Odessa Corp. has announced the upcoming release of ConceptDraw WebWave, the company's cross-platform software for creating diagrams, designs and illustrations for Web sites or application prototyping.
The program gives users a wide range of drawing and design editing tools and includes several task-specific wizards for diagramming and Web site documentation, according to the company.
The design application is set to be released on Sept. 27, priced at $299. Customers can pre-order and save $100 off the price of the release.

MetaCommunications Releases FileMaker Pro Software Developer Kit
Iowa City, Iowa-based MetaCommunications Inc. has released its FileMaker Pro Software Developer Kit for Digital Storage Manager.
The release is aimed at helping graphics professionals boost their file management capabilities while using FileMaker Pro 7 and the recent FileMaker Pro 8 release.
FileMaker Pro SDK enables developers to link, query and associate job specifications and customer contact information between FileMaker Pro and archived files in the Digital Storage Manager.
According to the company, the SDK also includes a FileMaker Bridge application that automatically keeps Digital Storage Manager's data updated to reflect the changes in FileMaker Pro.

Alias Ships MotionBuilder 7
Canada-based Alias Systems Corp. has released MotionBuilder 7, one of its many animation software applications.
The new release improves character control options for animators and includes a save and load character animation feature, giving animators the ability to expediently transfer and reuse animation clips with any character, according to the company.
In addition, the release includes boosted compatibility with other 3D applications, and an enhanced user interface.
The solution is priced at $4,195 and is compatible with both Mac OS X and Windows operating platforms.
