GretagMacbeth Boosts Ink Management and Print Collaboration
Switzerland-based GretagMacbeth AG on Wednesday released its Ink Formulation Software 5.0 solutions, which include four packages targeted to address both manufacturers and printer business needs.
The latest ink formulation software comes with an enhanced math engine for measuring correct ink absorption, and support for GretagMacbeth's CxF (color exchange format). Additionally, the offerings come with new batch processing capabilities for mixing ink recipes, and support for metallic foils and transparent materials printing.
The new IFS 5.0 solutions are available through GretagMacbeth's distribution network.

Toolfarm Inks Distribution Deals for Adobe After Effects Plug-Ins
San Francisco, Calif.-based, Toolfarm Inc. announced Wednesday its distribution agreements with several Adobe After Effects plug-in manufacturers.
Toolfarm will now offer Adobe After Effects plug-ins from The Foundry, Conoa Inc., Boris' Continuum Complete of Artel Software Inc., Buena Software Inc. and Cycore FX.
Toolfarm offers digital effects products for graphic artists and publishers, as well as training, support and tutorials for graphic utilities including Photoshop, Premiere, Avid, Final Cut Pro, Discreet and others.
