PixBuilder Studio 1.0 Released
WnSoft recently released PixBuilder Studio 1.0, an image editing tool for graphic and photo professionals.
PixBuilder Studio 1.0 enables users to adjust color balance, brightness and contrast, and apply layering effects to images.
The image editing shareware is compatible with Windows operating systems. It is available for trial, and a full license can be purchased for $34.

Flaming Pear Adds Photoshop Plug-In
On Thursday, Flaming Pear Software released its halftone converter plug-in India Ink.
The Photoshop filter gives users new options for converting color or gray-scale images to black-and-white halftones.
The plug-in is Mac and Windows compatible. Pricing for a single-user license is $15, and a site license runs $150.

Easier Image Management with Mediaboard One 1.1 Release
On Thursday, Germany-based InterServices New Media released Mediaboard One 1.1 with enhanced Raw format support for over 150 cameras as well as IPTC support.
The media cataloging and asset management solution enables users to track and manage images and movies.
Mediaboard One 1.1 gives users the ability to create thumbnails for each image or movie catalogued. In addition, with the new Autofill feature users can add comments, keywords, license and model release information, according to the company.
Upgrades are free for existing users, and new licenses are priced at $39.95 per client. A five-user Workgroup Server is available for $495.

Mitsubishi Photo Imaging Licenses MonacoProfiler
Irvine, Calif.-based Mitsubishi Photo Imaging has re-inked its deal with Grandville, Mich.-based X-Rite Inc. to continue licensing ICC profiles created by X-Rite's MonacoProfiler software for use in Mitsubishi's digital photo printers.
MonacoProfiler is a color management solution used to build ICC monitor, scanner and print profiles.
