New DynaStrip 4.1.1 offers flexible JDF imposition templates, improved interfaces.
Dynagram announced it has revamped its
DynaStrip imposition software with improved JDF support.
The new version, DynaStrip 4.1.1, now
lets users create flexible JDF imposition templates that can be re-used for a
variety of JDF-compliant workflow systems, the company said. The goal is to
ensure that users can seamlessly migrate to the new standard as it
emerges.
"While JDF is still an emerging
standard, Dynagram’s commitment to working seamlessly with workflow partners to
further the JDF initiative is clearly demonstrated with this new release of
DynaStrip," explained François Guérard, president of Dynagram.
As before, DynaStrip operates on
Macintosh (OS X, OS 9 and Classic modes) and Windows platforms, and accepts PDF,
PostScript, EPS and DCS files from over 100 applications. It can output to any
printer, digital imaging device, imagesetter or platesetter. DynaStrip also
outputs in both PJTF and JDF formats.
Both the JDF and PJTF output modes
support any type of job ganging, including multiple pagination sequences,
multiple document lists or step-and-repeat signatures. Version 4.1.1 now also
includes new layout functionalities and interface improvements to help users
better address their color needs, especially where the packaging industry is
concerned, the company said.
The new version is currently available.
