You can now rely on an ink jet printer to provide accurate Pantone color representations. AbsoluteProof’s Multicolor Engine with the Extrachrome ink set expands the color gamut and capability of industrial-strength printers such as the Epson Stylus PRO 9600 or Hewlett Packard’s HP 5000 to achieve accurate simulations of more than ninety percent of the Pantone color library. Proofs can also be delivered remotely in a PDF format.

AbsoluteProof harnesses your existing platesetter or imagesetter RIP to output the color digital proof. AbsoluteProof can also process PostScript and PDF files directly. Advanced features include: six-channel linearization that allows individual inks to be tweaked, halftone proofing with full control of dot gaink, and remote proofing and consistency checking.

In field testing, the AbsoluteProof Extrachrome system replicated more than 93% of the Pantone colors under a DeltaE of three. It is capable of processing more than one hundred colors in the same job, and even with standard inks this system can simulate 85% of the Pantone colors below a DeltaE of 3.
