PM5 Publish Plus is a color management solution for CMYK-based multicolor printing that aims to help print pros better achieve accurate, expedient and integrated color reproduction.GretagMacbeth has released PM5 Publish Plus, its color management solution for CMYK-based multicolor printing, to help print pros better achieve accurate, expedient and integrated color reproduction.
Addressing what the company termed "the two biggest hurdles in CMYK+N workflows," this release focuses on the separation process and soft/hard proofing requirements in multicolor printing jobs, and it enables the use of Photoshop plug-ins to tackle any color reproduction issues.
Users create a unique CMYK+N profile in PM5 Publish Plus, then edit and soft-proof any images in Photoshop, and with one step, create a multicolor separation and output the image using the PM5 MultiColor Plug-ins for Adobe Photoshop, said company officials.
