Markzware Gives InDesign Users New Quark Conversion Power

New plugin converts QuarkXPress documents directly into Adobe's InDesign.

Santa Ana, Calif.-based Markzware has released Q2ID, a new plug-in for Adobe InDesign that converts QuarkXPress 3.3, 4.x, 5.x and 6.x documents into native InDesign format.

Users can convert all elements of a QuarkXPress document, including page size, style sheets, fonts, text, images, layers, lines and tables.

The plug-in requires users to have Adobe InDesign 3.0 or 4.0 prior to installing Q2ID. In addition, Q2ID converts QuarkXPress documents created either in the Microsoft Windows or Apple Macintosh OS, into Macintosh Adobe InDesign.

Q2ID is priced at $199 and can be purchased through Markzware resellers or at Markzware's online store here.
