Anark and Discreet release toolkit for Multimedia and Web 3D

Anark Studio and Discreet plasma Bundle allows designers to bring real-time 3D to life.
Discreet, a division of Autodesk Inc., and Anark Corp. have
partnered to bring media artists a multimedia and Web 3D toolkit—Anark Studio
and Discreet plasma software. The Anark Studio / Discreet plasma Bundle is
available now and sells for the suggested retail price of $995—a savings of $700
vs. purchasing the products separately. This partnership brings Discreet’s
digital content creation software and Anark’s media authoring tool together in a
complete 3D, interactive creative solution.
Discreet’s plasma software and Anark Studio together will
give artists, designers and developers the 3D tools they need to create visually
captivating real-time, interactive, 3D experiences—including corporate
multimedia communications projects, interactive learning projects, as well as
eye-catching entertainment presentations across a variety of mediums—such as
DVD, CD-ROM, kiosks, the Web and beyond. Anark Studio and plasma designers can
leverage cross-product integration, sharing 3D models—as well as interactive 3D,
video, audio and 2D images. This bundle delivers a high-productivity design
environment with a flexible workspace, drag and drop behaviors, and an industry
standard timeline.

aggregating 3D and multimedia content in exciting, dynamic and interactive

with Discreet, Anark is able to closely integrate content from plasma allowing
3D artists to use Discreet’s powerful 3D tools and deliver content using Anark
Studio.”

software package for modeling, animation and rendering technology—but created
specifically with a Web designer-centric user interface, tool access and
workflow. While the Anark Studio bundle includes plasma, both plasma and 3ds max
files can be integrated into Anark Studio presentations, based on varying
capabilities of 3D creation. Artists can build real-time, optimized 3D models
with the robust production-proven modeling tools in plasma and integrate these
models into captivating multimedia presentations using Anark Studio’s intuitive
interactive authoring environment.
