Typefi Releases Typefi Publishing System 2.5
Ashland, Mass.-based Tyepfi Systems Inc. has updated its automated publishing system to support compatibility for Adobe InDesign CS and InDesign CS2.
According to Stephen O'Brien, chief technical officer and chairman of Typefi Systems, this release adds substantial support for creating complex tables, boosted image control and XML workflows.
Additionally, the release offers Unicode support and an improved user interface.

ColorBurst Systems Refreshes XProof
Sterling, Va.-based ColorBurst Systems has released XProof 4.0.3, an updated version of its print proofing solution for Epson medium and large format printers.
This release now offers support for Mac OS X 10.4 and support for OS X Server 10.3 and 10.4. The company enhanced its user interface and added support for Epson Stylus Pro 4800, 7800 and 9800 printers.
The company provides a fully functional 15-day demo version of the release available at its Web site.
The solution is priced at $495 and is available for purchase at resellers worldwide.
KavaSoft Adds Tiger Compatibility with Latest Release of Shoebox 1.2.2
KavaSoft has announced version 1.2.2 of its Mac OS X solution for organizing digital photos by content with added support for Tiger.
New features with this release include the capability to copy and paste categories using either the Edit or Photo menus, and improved smart folders capabilities for faster search of photos.
In addition, the company added support for exposure properties from RAW files and improved support for displaying NEF files from older Nikon cameras.
