Adobe VP John Loiacono gave attendees a sneak peak at Photoshop Express, the imaging follow-up to Adobe's Flash-based Premiere Express tool. The company also announced discounts on Photoshop Lightroom for CS3 buyers.

At Photoshop World 2007 in Las Vegas this week, Adobe senior vice president John Loiacono gave attendees a glimpse of Photoshop Express, an online photo editing tool focused on the consumer market. The application, still in development at Adobe, will make parts of the underlying technology in Photoshop available through a web interface.

Photoshop Express is a follow-up to Adobe's Premiere Express, a video mash-up tool based on Flash technology that allows visitors to sites like YouTube's Test Tube to re-assemble video, audio, and digital pictures, along with various digital effects, into a video they can publish online.

Loiacono also announced that Photoshop Lightroom, Adobe's digital image handling and management software, would be offered at a discount of $150 when purchased with Photoshop CS3 or Photoshop CS3 Extended. The savings will be offered for purchases directly from Adobe and selected resellers.
