Ashampoo updates Photo Commander ... ArchVision expands RPC collections ... Xzeos Software announces XnView Deluxe 2.

Two companies announce boosted offerings for photo editing and archiving. Meanwhile, Archvision adds furniture collections to its 3D designer library offerings.

  • Ashampoo Updates Photo Commander

    Germany-based Ashampoo GMBH & Co. KG on Thursday released its digital photo editing and archiving application, Ashampoo Photo Commander 3.5.

    New image editing and archiving features in this release include a red-eye removal tool, batch photo printing and a pen tool for marking digital images.

    The release also brings support for more than 50 image, video and audio formats.

    The application is priced at $49.95 and is available for purchase at the company Web site.

  • ArchVision Expands RPC Collections

    On Friday, Lexington, Ky.-based ArchVision Inc. added four new furniture RPC (rich photorealistic content) libraries for graphic designers and 3D image artists.

    The libraries added include the Bedroom Collection Volume 1, Dining Room Collection Volume 1, Living Room Collection Volume 1 and Patio Collection Volume 1.

    The pricing on the newly added content libraries ranges from $99 to $149.

  • Xzeos Software Announces XnView Deluxe 2

    France-based Xzeos Software has made available its XnView Deluxe 2 graphics viewer and conversion application, which has new image-management capabilities.

    XnView Deluxe has enhanced search capabilities and image conversion to PDF format, as well as slideshow-exporting tools. The application also supports most Photoshop plug-ins.

    A trial version is available for free download at the company Web site, and the Deluxe 2 version runs at about $47.
