Pegasus Imaging completes acquisition of TMSSequoia

Increases ability to provide image viewing, enhancement and forms processing.

Pegasus Imaging Corporation has announced the acquisition of the software Component Product Technology division of TMSSequoia, including substantially all of TMSSequoia's assets. Pegasus Imaging will increase its ability to provide more advanced document imaging and forms processing software technology to its international customer base as a result of this transaction.

"By joining our respective strengths, one imaging technology powerhouse has been created.  Pegasus Imaging is now exceedingly well positioned for future growth in the digital imaging software industry," says Jack Berlin, president of Pegasus Imaging Corporation. "Customers will enjoy a renewed commitment to high-quality customer service, technical support, and product development. Over the years, TMSSequoia had been recognized for its solid reputation, its advanced technology, and its performance in the field of document imaging. Pegasus Imaging is committed to continuing this tradition."

Since 1980, TMSSequoia has provided image viewing, image enhancement and forms processing software solutions for businesses worldwide. TMSSequoia has shipped their document imaging software to more than 1,500,000 users.

TMSSequoia's engineering staff brings almost 200 cumulative years of imaging research and product development experience to Pegasus Imaging. The two highly talented groups from both companies will now collaborate to make additional advancements in document imaging, medical imaging, photo imaging, and video solutions.

Pegasus Imaging is committed to making this transition as seamless as possible for all TMSSequoia and Pegasus Imaging customers.  Integration efforts and product development plans are underway and will continue to be top priorities during the coming months.
