The software company's blog touts title support as the new tool's "hero feature."Boinx has released its upgraded slideshow application tool FotoMagico 1.2, making several enhancements to the previously released version.
Some of the feature enhancements noted in a company release include the addition of a title support option, improved export features, and a blank or empty slide feature which allows the user to make a slide displaying only a title, for instance, or to insert a completely blank slide in a presentation.
The latest version of FotoMagico from Germany-based Boinx Software also includes a new guidelines improvement function, which helps in layout and aligning of images, and a new resizing option which provides grab and drag handles on corners. The Option panel also is now able to remember the most recently used settings, which can include font, color and format settings.
Enhancements were made to the user menu and to pan and zoom motion control, and the ability was added to make real-time updates of images and audio in existing iTunes and iPhoto library and folder favorites without first closing out the FotoMagico application. The company blog also noted that there were significant enhancements made to fix the export feature and make it more manageable and user friendly.
Users can sign up for a free five-day demo on the Web site. The latest version is free of charge for all current FotoMagico licensees, and for new users the cost is $79.
