Designorati, a blog network for creative professionals, debuted last week and features topics ranging from graphic design and illustration through creative culture and strategy.

Publisher and founder Pariah S. Burke said he started a designer's Weblog with Weblogs Inc. last year and attracted 100,000 visitors within a month's time of the launch.

From that success, Burke decided to actively assemble a group of sites aimed at speaking to creative professionals and meeting their information needs.

On the topic of coverage, Burke said, "[9rules.com] takes existing blogs and ties them together. We just cover professional creativity--no politics or humor or anything like that."

Burke also said the site is currently is accepting applications for new writers on its existing topics, as well as proposals for new topics related to professional creativity.

The site boasts a wide range of creative bloggers whose bios can be found here.
