FlySoft announces updates to its image processing software, and two companies target Tiger compatibility with latest releases for content management and creation. Extensis updates image editing tools for Adobe CS2 compatibility, and Eltima boosts flash conversion with Flash Decompiler 2.1.

  • Faster Conversion and Imaging Editing With FlyConverter Version 1.2

    FlySoft has announced the release of its image processing software, FlyConverter Version 1.2.

    FlyConverter 1.2 enables users to convert and edit image files in automatic mode using a scheduled task list. Using a four-step wizard process users can specify conditions for input files based on image format, date of file creation, file name, image size and color resolution, according the company's Web site.

    Pricing for a business license of the latest release runs $94.95, and site licenses are priced at $250.

  • RovoSoft Releases Metropolis 1.0

    Germany-based RovoSoft has announced the public beta release of content management software application Metropolis 1.0 for Windows.

    Metropolis comes with its own scripting language, MetroScript. Using MetroScript users can create cross links and share data across documents. The scripting language also links to Metropolis' template system, according to the company.

    With the beta release RovoSoft is offering both Metropolis 1.0 for Windows and Metropolis Version 2.0 for Mac OS X for a combined price of $143.

  • Extensis Posts Free Updates for Photoshop Tools

    On Wednesday, Portland, Ore.-based Extensis Inc. posted free updates for several of its existing Photoshop tools to provide Adobe CS2 compatibility.

    The product updates include Mask Pro, PhotoFrame, Intellihance Pro and pxl Smart Scale.

  • Eltima Software Releases Flash Decompiler 2.1

    Germany-based Eltima Software GmbH has updated its flash conversion tool, Flash Decompiler 2.1, with a redesigned interface and the addition of thumbnail viewing.

    Users can now extract all the resources from a Flash movie and convert them to FLA for use in associated projects, according to the company's release. The program also includes a built-in explorer feature for easier navigation of SWF (Macromedia Flash File format) files and enables users to maintain and save a favorites list.

    Licensed version pricing starts at $59.95, and the application is compatible with Microsoft Windows 98/NT/ME/2000/XP/2003 with a Macromedia Flash plug-in requirement.

  • Ilexsoft Upgrades HighDesign for Mac OS X 10.4 'Tiger'

    Italy-based Ilexsoft has released HighDesign 1.5, its CAD application for Mac OS X, with substantial upgrades to the release designed specifically for Mac OS X 10.4 "Tiger" compatibility.

    The latest release supports high-resolution images and includes a redesigned Create Image tool for boosting image project rendering. The company said it improved zoom and panning features as well.

    HighDesign is available in two versions, with the Professional edition priced at $349 and the Standard edition at $149.
