Monotype Imaging boosts its font collection for users, while OnRequest gives customers new ways to find the perfect image and CValley goes CS2-compatible with its popular plug-in suite.

  • Monotype Imaging Adds Gill Sans OpenType Pro Typeface

    Woburn, Mass.-based Monotype Imaging Inc. has augmented its font offerings with the introduction of the 21-font family represented by the Gill Sans OpenType Pro Typface.

    The OpenType fonts are compatible with both Mac and Windows platform, and expand designers' font creation options.

  • OnRequest Images Launches Custom Assignment Photography Services

    Seattle, Wash.-based OnRequest Images Inc. has launched Custom Assignment Services, which enables customers to "take advantage of our global production capabilities to actively participate in the process of creating customer images, from start to finish," said CEO David Norris.

    The service provides a way for customers to search and match available stock images, as well as commission photographers for specific assignments.

  • CValley Updates Plug-In Suite for Adobe Illustrator CS2

    Santa Barbara, Calif.-based CValley Inc. has updated its plug-in suite for Adobe Illustrator with the release of FilterIt4.1.

    The upgrade includes new color management tools for users of Illustrator 9 and 10, and is compatible with Windows and Mac platforms.

    FilterIt4.1 gives users the ability to add blur effects and filters and prepare images for Web animation.

    The suite is priced at $129 and is available for download at the company's Web site.
