OnOne Software Improves Scaling Tools for Adobe Photoshop Users
OnOne Software, based in Portland, Ore., has updated its image printing and scaling tool, Genuine Fractals 4.0, with enhancements in scaling and image handling for Adobe Photoshop CS2 users.
Genuine Fractals 4.0 creates print-ready enlargements from RGB and CMYK image files of any size or resolution.
The latest version enables users to open images within Adobe Photoshop and access the Genuine Fractals plug-in from the Automate menu. Users do not have to save files in the .STN file format before scaling them, as they did in previous versions.
The upgrade is priced at $99.95 and for new users the plug-in is offered at $149.95. The plug-in is compatible with Mac OS X 10.2 and higher.

Goldwein Research Augments History for InDesign
Czech Republic-based Goldwein Research Ltd. has released its DTP Tools History plug-in History 2.1 for InDesign users.
History 2.1 gives InDesign users a tool for tracking their actions and progress in any InDesign document at any time during the document creation.
The latest release boosts compression power and enables export of selected versions in all file formats compatible with InDesign. History 2.1 also provides improved version management, including resizing of version thumbnails.
The plug-in is available in both Windows and Macintosh format. Upgrades are free for existing users and a new license is priced at $39.

BeLight Software Adds 40 New Design Templates to Swift Publisher
Ukraine-based BeLight Software has added 40 additional template designs to its design and publishing tool Swift Publisher, as well as improving to image and text field handling.
The latest version, 1.0.3, also adds the option to show or hide the clip art panel and an option to select Design Page Size from the Preferences dialog.
