Quickcut Ltd. and Electronics for Imaging Inc. on Thursday released AssureProof, a hard-copy proofing solution that is the first joint solution released by the companies.

The remote proofing solution enables content creators to design and generate a verified color-accurate proof that meets the specific publisher's measurements and specifications for layout.

MacLab, a division of Studio 405 Inc., on Thursday released Text Cleaner 3.01 with compatibility for Adobe's InDesign CS2.

Text Cleaner is a text preparation tool that helps designers correct and clean text files for print or Web publication.

The application is priced at $89 and has compatibility with Mac OS X Version 10.2 or higher.

Scene7 Inc. on Thursday released Version 3.2 of its Infinite Imaging Platform for the rich media market.

The new platform includes a new folder management system, eCatalog keyword search support, and improved zoom and viewing features. There is also SSL support with this release, the company said.
