Recent product announcements aimed at content creation and publishing workflows include: Visual Vision targeting e-books creation; Electric Rain enabling Flash; HumanEyes Technology expanding print options; and Five Across launching Bubbler.

  • Visual Vision Releases EBooksWriter

    Visual Vision has released EBooksWriter, a complete tool for the creation and publishing of e-books.

    The Pro version of the tool is available for $119 until May 25, and the Lite version of the tool is free.

  • Electric Rain Releases Swift3D 4.5

    Electric Rain Inc. on Wednesday released Swift3D 4.5, its standalone application for 3D graphic designers.

    The updated release is now compatible with video editing tools such as Adobe After Effects or Apple Final Cut Pro for adding 3D elements, tiling and motion graphic effects to video projects, according to the company.

    The solution is compatible on both Mac OS X and Windows platforms and is priced at $229.

  • HumanEyes Expands PrintPro Special Effects

    HumanEyes Technology Ltd. on Friday announced the expansion of its PrintPro special effects/lenticular software special effects print portfolio.

    The PrintPro line now includes HumanEyes Studio 3D, HumanEyes Litho 3D as well as the existing HumanEyes Litho 3D L and HumanEyes Litho 3D XL products, the company said.

    HumanEyes said it also intends in the near future to release a solution for printing on narrow format DI machines.

  • Five Across Launches Bubbler

    Five Across Inc. last week launched its hosted service Bubbler, a drag-and-drop publishing service targeted at SMBs (small and midsize businesses) for creating multi-page Web sites.

    The hosted service is available immediately and provides automatic page generation, real-time text and page updating, drag-and-drop photo, audio and video capability, according to the company.

    The company is offering Bubbler Hosted accounts starting at $5 per month, depending on storage and bandwidth usage, and there is also a free Bubbler 1 account available for content contributors or for simple text blogging, the company said.
