Imagematics’ StillMotion Creator mimics the actual functionality of an animation camera stand. The completed animation is then converted to Flash SWF format, or exported as a high-resolution file for professional video or HDTV.

Imagematics’ StillMotion Creator is designed to allow the user to create animated video from digital still photographs. It is a piece of software that mimics the actual functionality of an animation camera stand, where you can apply pan, zoom and rotate to images. The completed animation can then be output in the Flash SWF format, or as a high resolution file for professional video or HDTV.

The ImageMatics StillMotion Creator is an easy to use and very affordable multimedia animation program that creates SWF movies and AVI files from still images. With StillMotion Creator you can create virtual tours, bring to life presentations with dynamic image effects, create slideshows for Internet presentation with professional transitions, manage and display panoramas and create new products and offering from still images.

Bill Strum, President of Imagematics, explained how the StillMotion software was developed. He said: “The Internet is replete with still images and in order to add animation, pans and zooms, you had to download the file. You had to put some sort of a plug-in in the file, or you had to use an AVI format, which of course, is yet another set of plug-ins and becomes a bandwidth hog.”

StillMotion animations are movie segments created through pan and zoom movements through still images. The results are compelling. StillMotion animation provides a new tool for Web site and Flash developers, designers, professional photographers, videographers and content developers.

There are three versions of the StillMotion Creator. The standard version supports Flash only output, while the Plus and Pro versions both support AVI. The Plus version supports AVI resolutions of 400x400 or less, while the Pro version supports unlimited resolutions.
