NetSuite's One System architecture checks out Canadian market.
NetSuite
Inc., will now make available
its on-demand business applications for the
Canadian market, including
NetSuite, NetSuite Small Business, NetCRM, NetERP and NetCommerce.
All of NetSuite’s existing product offerings have been uniquely localized
for the Canadian market, from local terminology and GST & PST accounting
requirements to statutory reporting, allowing customers to automate business
operations from customer relationship management, to sales, to support, to
financials and to e-commerce.
When asked what NetSuite’s plans were beyond Canada, CEO Zach Nelson
said, “Canada is another important step in our plan to extend NetSuite and
extend our international strategy. We’re also going to use it to provide
backline support for the expansion in the UK and U.S. Next year, we’ll have our
first translated versions of the product for Asia, Germany, and France.” When
asked about the differences in e-commerce in Canada and the U.S., Nelson noted
tongue-in-cheek that Canadians pronounce “Check-out” as “Check-oot.” But no
matter what the pronunciation, it’s clear that NetSuite’s One System
architecture continues to reign in the e-commerce arena and will continue its
spread beyond prevailing borders.
NetSuite Small Business starts at $120 CAD per month, $60 CAD for each
additional user and NetSuite starts at $499 CAD per month, $120 CAD for each
additional month.
