Appian, a Va.-based provider of real-time, enterprise Web solutions to the public and commercial sectors, has released Appian Procurement, a standards-based J2EE-compliant procurement solution with e-commerce, collaborative workflow and document management features.

The Appian Procurement solution is based on the third generation of Appian's award-winning technology platform, which features enterprise portal, document and content management, personalization and identity management technology. Optional extensions for transaction reconciliation and data extraction, transformation and loading are also available.
