Version 3.5 of FormArtist also sports new auto-forwarding capabilities.
Following on the heels of similar
announcements from FormRouter and others, Quask announced that the latest
version of its FormArtist forms software now supports offline forms
management.
Version 3.5 of FormArtist, the
company’s desktop software for creating and publishing Web and e-mail based
forms, surveys, e-brochures and opinion polls, now lets users complete forms and
surveys without first being connected to the Internet.
Available as a module in the
Professional edition of FormArtist 3.5, the new capability not only lets users
deploy forms and surveys on a Web server for completion by recipients online,
but they can also distribute the same data via e-mail, on CD or as a file
for completion offline. Recipients need only load and install the Form Manager
once to receive any number of different forms, and can fill in multiple
instances of the same form. Forms can then be saved and closed at any time
during completion, enabling lengthy or complex forms to be completed over a
period of time, the company said.
The new version also contains an Auto
Forwarding capability, which lets users forward partially completed forms from
person to person. This is particularly useful for companies that run complex
process forms that require input from multiple people/departments, the company
said.
The new Offline Form Manager can be run
on desktop PCs, laptops and tablet PCs, with a PDA version to follow shortly.
The Professional version of FormArtist, with the new off-line forms management
feature, costs $899. For more information, or to download a free trial, visit
