Michigan’s largest realtor finds VIC’s virtual tour imaging software reaps rewards.
Real Estate One, the largest real estate company in Michigan, upgraded
its virtual tour imaging software to provide its agents with even more sales
tools.
The company had been using software from Virtual Imaging Corp. (VIC) to
provide prospective house hunters with several views of available homes in an
effort to ease the search process for both buyers and their agents.
An upgrade to the VIC software has gone a few steps further, however. The
new VIC tours software now lets Real Estate One’s agents better promote
themselves by displaying images of the company banner, as well as their agent
photo, along with online real estate listings. It also lets them provide
alternative ways for prospective buyers to contact them.
For example, in addition to supporting traditional phone numbers and
e-mail addresses, the software has a new ‘Page Me’ feature that allows
interested buyers to page an agent within 10 seconds of viewing a tour. It also
provides a URLinks feature that embeds links back to the agent’s own Web site so
that prospective buyers viewing the agent’s listing will be redirected back to
the agent and not back out to third-party aggregator sites.
“Real Estate One has been very progressive in its approach to putting the
industry’s best tools in the hands of their agents,” said Jeff Michaels, vice
president of sales and marketing for Virtual Imaging. “The net result of a
marketing tool such as this is more listing presentations won by Real Estate One
agents.”
