eMotion Releases On Demand Ad Building Solution

Solution provides branded ad template capabilities for marketers.

With the release of its Hosted Ad Builder Solution, eMotion Inc. has given advertisers and corporate marketers a new tool for easier ad branding in the marketplace.

Jon Schupp, the San Francisco company's senior vice president of sales and client services, told Publish.com that eMotion has focused its efforts on "providing central repositories for creative media, giving the customers a place to make their digital medium perform."

"This add-on gives a single interface to not only store the raw material, but then be able to create the layout from the same application," he said. "It creates a single workflow for archiving as well as for localizing ad layout."

One of the more difficult challenges in localized advertising is to deliver it quickly and efficiently without affecting the customized layout and congruency for each unique company's ad. The eMotion templates within the Hosted Ad Builder Solution enable companies to utilize branded advertising templates accessible through a Web browser, as detailed in the release. Not only does it allow for easier customized templates, but the solution also lends a hand to creating print-ready advertising, by enabling users to create print ads in PDF format.

The solution is delivered using an ASP (application service provider) model so users can pay as they go. Schupp said the model was built on more of an ASP model than the traditional licensing model to help lessen the impact overall on customers' budgets.

eMotion already has one customer using the Hosted Ad Builder Solution—the Novato, Calif.-based Birkenstock shoe company, who Schupp said is very pleased with the ability to use an integrated platform. "Birkenstock is pleased with it because previously they were using someone else's platform and our digital asset management system, and this enables them to use just one application, which is both time-efficient and cost-saving," Schupp said.

The solution is available as a stand-alone service or in combination with other eMotion solutions.
